Knowing, Nurturing and Offering Our Gifts
YOUR ANNUAL CAMPAIGN TEAM
Alan Roebuck is chairing the Annual Campaign Team.
The Annual Campaign is set to kick off in September with in-gathering Sunday on our Harvest Festival on October 20th.
Further information will follow.
Please check whether your 2019 pledge is up to date - if you are not going to be able to make it - just let me know - I will not use any names but we can adjust our dollar amount. If you have done better than you thought, perhaps you could consider over-paying your pledge to help out those who have had a less fortunate year.
DOING GOD'S WORK IN THE WORLD
The members of our congregation are asked to let us know they ways you carry the Good News “out there” by your life and work in the community.
As you consider your hours, remember the many ways you serve: tutoring, helping at the Shepherd’s Table (or any soup kitchen), volunteering with the Cleveland County Boys and Girls Club or Arts Council, visiting people in the hospital, crocheting/knitting, making Rosaries or many other activities.
VOLUNTEER RECORD INFORMATION
The form for tracking your service is called, DOING GOD'S WORK IN THE WORLD. You can find copies of it on the table in the narthex (the front foyer in the church). Send your volunteer hours each Sunday to the Stewardship Team. We'll report the hours in the next week's bulletin.
All churches in the Piedmont Deanery have agreed to begin keeping these statistics to get a better picture of the impact our churches have in our communities. Thanks for your participation!
