Boats on dry land

Like these boats, waiting for the tide, we find ourselves bound to impossibility without God. A boat is not all it can be without the ocean. It might be used as a storage shed or a shelter - but there are more efficient designs for dry land. In the same way, we can be something without God, of course we exist, but we cannot achieve our fullest potential unless we dare to remain as the Spirit laps at our feet and rises fill and surround us in being our true selves.
