This month, The Shepherd's Table Food Pantry and Kitchen received many generous donations of food and funds that helped us keep our shelves and pantry stocked and our plates full. We served a huge Christmas meal to the community, surpassing 150 plates. We also had several weeks where we served a very high number of guests at the pantry before the holidays.

The Shepherd's Table is so grateful to all our hard working volunteers and to everyone who donated to the ministry in any way. We are proud to have received food and monetary donations from several members of the wider Cleveland County community who are not members of Redeemer but who have learned about our ministry to the community and want to help us further that mission. Donations of canned goods are still appreciated, especially soups, spaghetti, and fruit.

The Health Department sent us this information about Covid Testing. There is a printable version here Please take a look and print it off if that helps you or if you want to share it with someone else. If you have not had your shots or booster seriously considering doing that, for yourself and the community.

A friendly Bible Study on the Gospel of the year. Begins on January 9th. This is accessible to everyone, no matter how much you have studied before. If you need help with the cost of the book please let us know. You can attend with or without the book as the course is discussion based.

"The theological and literary beauty of the Gospel of Luke comes to life in Meeting St. Luke Today, written by preeminent biblical scholar Daniel J. Harrington. What truly sets this book apart is the way in which Harrington effectively bridges the gap between modern biblical scholarship and Christian spirituality. In addition to a brief but complete narrative analysis of the Gospel of Luke and essential background information on the Evangelist himself, this book includes suggestions for ways we might "pray" Luke's Gospel and live out its transforming message in our daily lives." from Amazon book page.
