Life Together at Redeemer

At Redeemer, we believe church is more than a place you attend—it is a community that helps shape the way you live.

Throughout the week, people gather on our campus for worship, formation, fellowship, service, music, meals, conversations, and community outreach. Some come seeking spiritual growth. Some come looking for friendship and belonging. Many discover both.

You might find parishioners sharing an Agape Meal, participating in Adult Formation, gathering for Holy Grounds conversations, walking together through the neighborhood, volunteering at Shepherd's Table, tending the Community Garden, or enjoying one of the concerts and special events that bring our community together.

We are a congregation rooted in the Episcopal tradition and committed to living our faith with open hearts, curious minds, and generous spirits. We welcome people from many backgrounds and experiences, believing that every person has something valuable to contribute to the life of our community. At the center of parish life is a simple conviction: we are pilgrims on a journey. We do not walk alone. We learn from one another, pray for one another, celebrate life's joys together, and support one another through its challenges.

Whether you are new to Shelby, exploring faith, returning to church, or looking for a spiritual home, there is a place for you here.

At Redeemer, we are growing in faith, community, and service—and we would be honored to walk this journey with you.

Jim & Betty Martin Music Series

Sharing the Gift of Music with Our Community

The Jim and Betty Martin Music Series celebrates the power of music to inspire, connect, and enrich our lives.

Throughout the year, Redeemer hosts a variety of concerts, special liturgies, and musical events featuring local and regional musicians, ensembles, choirs, and artists. From chamber music and choral offerings to Celtic liturgies and community celebrations, the series reflects the rich diversity of musical expression found within our region.

Named in honor of Jim and Betty Martin, whose love of music and commitment to community continue to inspire us, this series seeks to make the arts accessible while creating opportunities for fellowship, reflection, and joy.

Many events are offered free of charge and are open to the entire community. Whether you are a lifelong music lover or simply curious to experience something new, we invite you to join us as we celebrate the beauty, creativity, and connection that music brings to our lives.

At Redeemer, we believe music is more than entertainment—it is one of the ways we encounter beauty, nurture community, and experience the presence of God.
